I was walking the small town of Spoleto in Umbria and happened upon this amphitheater that had recently been uncovered, it dated back to ancient roman times. It always amazes me how a natural juxtaposition exists everywhere you turn throughout Italy. The old and new continually melding to create unbelievable scenes. This is a great town and I highly recommend a stop there to anyone traveling north from Rome.
